About
The Brass Band of the Tri-State is a British-style brass band founded in 1995 by the late Jackson Hill. Based in Huntington, West Virginia, the band is comprised of approximately 20-25 amateur musicians. Under the direction of Dr. Michael Stroeher, Professor of Low Brass at Marshall University, the band is the only one of its kind in the Tri-State area. The band won championships in the Explorer Division at NABBA.
