Brass Band of the Western Reserve

Formed in 1997, the Brass Band of the Western Reserve (BBWR) is the premiere brass band of Northeast Ohio. Originally known as the Cuyahoga Valley Brass Band, the ensemble was renamed in 2003. Jay Wardeska was named Music Director in March 2022. He was named the 2013 National Band Director of the Year by NAfME and the U.S. Army Band.
