The Oakland University Brass Band was formed in 2009 by Kenneth Kroesche, Professor of Music at Oakland University. The band won the NABBA First Section in 2014 and in 2015 earned the highest placement by an American band at the Butlins National Brass Band Festival in England. Also won 2018 and 2019 Grand Champions titles at the Dublin Festival of Brass.
