The Austin Brass Band comprises local brass and percussion musicians in central Texas who are passionate about the British brass banding tradition. Founded in 2005, the band has entertained the Austin area for nearly two decades, performing at venues throughout central Texas. In 2019 they made their debut at the North American Brass Band Association Championships, returning in 2024 and earning high marks for their soloists. The Austin Brass Band is also one of the founding members of the Texas Brass Fest, a regional showcase and competition occurring every spring since 2023.

The Austin Brass Band is a 501(c)(3) organization dedicated to providing opportunities for professional and amateur brass and percussion players from the Austin and surrounding area to learn, perform, and share high quality British style brass band music with their community.
